Welcome to Harmonie SV

Welcome to Harmonie SV, the home of over 40 years of soccer tradition in Palo Alto and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The 2008-2009 season promises to be an exciting one: following the First Team's continued success in the Peninsula Soccer League winning the Premiere Division and looking strong as they move to the Majors Division; another Over 50s Team win at Wanderpokal in LA; our two over 35 (A and B) teams.

Practice

ATTENTION:

We no longer have a guaranteed weekly spot at Mayfield and our search for fields continues. Our temporary solution, until the light gets bad, is as follows: Art will continue to apply for any unused time at Mayfield on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This obviously means we have to be flexible and check our e-mail inboxes regularly for updates. Should we not find Mayfield time then practice will be held on our standby Stanford playing field spot on Thursdays at 6pm.

Harmonie in the News - Fighting for Field Time!

Harmonie continues its efforts to regain access to practice and game fields in Palo Alto. In the latest developments, after a Palo Alto City meeting, our esteemed president, Ian Bimpson, was quoted in the Palo Alto Daily News. The article was also picked up by the San Jose Mercury News. In addition, the Palo Alto Daily Post ran a separate story in which Ian was also quoted:

Harmonie Memorial Tournament

The Harmonie Memorial Tournament was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2008, from 11am to 6pm at the Mayfield Turf Fields in Palo Alto.

Santa Cruz 6v6 Tournament

Harmonie's First Team participated in the 22nd Santa Cruz 6v6 Open tournament, on August 9th and 10th. Not only is this tournament a blast to play in, it's also great for watching fast-moving, high-level soccer. Unfortunately, Harmonie was knocked out of the tournament with a disappointing 1-2 record in pool play.
