Harmonie continues its efforts to regain access to practice and game fields in Palo Alto. In the latest developments, after a Palo Alto City meeting, our esteemed president, Ian Bimpson, was quoted in the Palo Alto Daily News. The article was also picked up by the San Jose Mercury News. In addition, the Palo Alto Daily Post ran a separate story in which Ian was also quoted:

The Harmonie Memorial Tournament was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2008, from 11am to 6pm at the Mayfield Turf Fields in Palo Alto.

Harmonie's First Team participated in the 22nd Santa Cruz 6v6 Open tournament, on August 9th and 10th. Not only is this tournament a blast to play in, it's also great for watching fast-moving, high-level soccer. Unfortunately, Harmonie was knocked out of the tournament with a disappointing 1-2 record in pool play.

The Harmonie First team won the 2007-2008 Premiere Division title and will play int the Majors Division for the 2008-2009 season.
